Description

I have made all of these recipes myself. I always try to show the original source of the recipe, but am constantly editing them to suit our tastes (so technically they should all say "Adapted from..."). The portions are generally small since my family doesn't consume much food in one sitting.

When searching in the categories below, don't forget to click on "older posts" at the bottom right of the screen after scrolling through them to see more recipes in that category.

*I have recently added a $ label to show that I've calculated the price of the recipe. All prices include 3% food tax.*

Crepes (allrecipes.com)

Makes 10.

$0.82 ($0.08 each)

3 eggs
1½ c milk (made from powder)
1 c flour
1 tsp sugar
¼ tsp salt

Combine eggs and milk in a blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Heat skillet over medium-high heat and coat with spray or butter.
Scoop about 1/3 c batter into skillet and tilt the pan to coat the bottom.
Cook until the top looks dry, about 30 seconds. Carefully slide a spatula under the pancake and flip. Cook for a few seconds on the other side, just until browned. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining batter.

Re-spray pan after every few crepes.

(1 egg to 1 Tbsp sugar to 1 c milk to 1 c flour)
